I am not perfect. “For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God”-Romans 3:23 “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” -Isaiah 59:2 And what is the standard of God, not human beings, but only God’s standard. “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect” -Matthew 5:48 Then who can be saved if no one is perfect?! Can our personal good works do it?  “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death” Proverbs 14:12….the answer is no. Well, you know what…Jesus Christ came down to our sinful world as a sinless, pure, and Holy God. He FILLS that gap of my sinful, imperfect, and incomplete life to the way that God wants his children to be. He is that Bridge that connects us from our sinful life to the Holy and perfect God. Without that bridge…we will fall into the depths of sin and hell. “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God…” 1 peter 3:18 “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 timothy 2:5 This is why we celebrate Resurrection Sunday, because we remember That Christ died for the ungodly, conquered death for us so that we may be saved through Him and ONLY through Him. I am so in awe that God has shown mercy upon a sinner like me. God’s ultimate grace and love is defined in Jesus Christ. Only in Jesus Christ will we enter the Kingdom of Heaven. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” john 3:16  “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.” john 5: 4
